Benefactors

The Marathon Games is the largest yearly fundraising event organized by TV88 MarathonFlorida.com.

The Benefactors of the 2019 Marathon Pentathlon will be 10 local non-profits selected from applications.

There were 10 local non-profits who were the 2017 Marathon Pentathlon Benefactors:
The Hammock House, The Fla Keys SPCA, Habitat for Humanity of The Middle Keys, The Dolphin Research Center, The Marathon Girl Scouts, MYC Educational Foundation, The American Legion Riders, Monroe Marauders, The Marathon Wild Bird Center, and the Marathon Moose Lodge.

Applications to be one of the benefactors from the 2019 Marathon Pentathlon will be posted shortly.

 

Purpose of The Marathon Games

The purpose of all Marathon Games:

1) to provide local athletes who are up for a physical challenge, an opportunity to win large cash prizes and great local vacation packages.

2) to make a full length movie highlighting Crane Point, Marathon Florida, and The Florida Keys – which will Premier at The Marathon Community Park shortly after the Pentathlon has finished, and all interviews have been completed.

3) to give locals who are interested in the film/video profession, an opportunity to be actively involved in the production of the making of this movie.

4) to provide some money to 10 local partnering non-profits, and also providing awareness to the each of the non-profits’ causes in the movie.

5) to provide a whole lot of fun for our community.
